Qasr Qarun Palace in Faiyum is an ancient palace located in the Faiyum Oasis in Egypt. Built around 640 BC, it was the retreat of Egypt's 26th Dynasty rulers. Its walls were decorated in frescoes depicting scenes from the life of King Psammetichus II, who is believed to have used it as a summer palace. The palace features a central courtyard surrounded by pillared halls and royal apartments, offering an insight into the traditional richness of the Ancient Egyptian court. Its façade was most likely constructed from local Jebel Al-Faiyum stone, limestone, and gypsum. Today, the palace has been restored and is open to visitors.
