Chapelle Marie Reine de Pouwounepihè In Togo is a Catholic church located in the village of Pouwounepihè in northern Togo. It was established in the 19th century by the people of the local Pouwounepihè community to honor their patron saint, the Virgin Mary. The chapel is renowned for its healing services and supernatural powers. In the early 2000s, a new parish was created because of the increasing number of people visiting the chapel from all over the country. The chapel is also known for its unique architecture and traditional masks, sculptures and fabrics. Every year, on the 8th of December, a procession is held to honor the Virgin Mary and pray for the health and well-being of the people.
