The Sangameshwara Temple, located in Kaleshwaram in Telangana, is a temple of Lord Shiva. The temple has a history that dates back to the 11th century. Worshippers come to this temple to pay their respects to the Hindu god and give offerings of sacred items such as flowers, fruits, and coconuts. The worship in the Sangameshwara Temple follows a traditional Hindu pattern of ritual, worship, and offering. Devotees first perform a Ganapati puja as it is considered to be a way to obtain Lord Shiva’s blessings. After this is done, the temple priests perform a puja to sanctify the devotees and invoke the presence of the Lord. Following this, an aarti is performed and then Shiva Linga is worshipped. The Daily Abhishekam of the Shiva Linga marks the beginning of the day’s worship. After this is done, the devotees are allowed to perform their individual prayers and rituals.
