The Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour is the main cathedral of the Archdiocese of Colombo, located in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is the largest and most striking church architecture in the country. The Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour was constructed in the 1940s and was formally consecrated in April 1950. It was designed by Clifton and G.W. Hunt and is noted for its Gothic architectural features and its elevated location.

The Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour was built in the 1940s by the Roman Catholic Church in Sri Lanka, and it was formally consecrated in April 1950. Its foundation stone was laid by the then-Archbishop of Colombo Rt. Rev. Dr. Mark Regan on 1st June 1946. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Srilanka.
