The worship method of Sri Vilavadi Vinayakar Alayam follows the Saiva Siddhanta philosophy. This temple follows a traditional system of worship rituals. Worshipers typically begin their visits with a Shiva Linga Avahanam, and then perform a series of Deva Pujas, such as Abhisekam, Pooja, and Vahanam. Offerings such as milk, yogurt, honey, and ghee are made to the Lord. Afterward, worshipers chant Vishnu Sahasranama or other mantras for imparting blessings.
