The worship method of the Pathalavairavar Temple in Olumadu, Mankulam, Oddusuddan is a combination of Hindu rituals and Sri Lankan traditional rites. Worshippers typically enter the temple and receive a blessing from the priest after which they make a offering. Offerings include flowers, coconuts, and incense. Once the offering is made, the worshipper then chants mantras in front of the main deity and offers prayers. Devotees subsequently perform a ‘homa’ (fire ceremony) and seek blessings from the presiding deity.
