Each day begins with offering of ghee lamps (deeparadhanai) followed by chanting of prayers to the Lord. A typical worship involves chanting of sacred mantras, offering of food and flowers, chanting of shlokas, and worshipping of Gnanavairavar (an avatar of Lord Shiva). The temple also offers a puja to Parvati Devi, Mother of Ganesha. During special occasions, pujas to Maha Ganesha and other deities are also performed.
