The closest major airport is the Ratmalana International Airport, located just outside of Colombo. From the Ratmalana International Airport, visitors can take an intercity bus or train to Deniyaya (approximately 10 hours). Alternatively, visitors can take a direct flight to the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) and then take an intercity bus or train to Deniyaya, which will take around three hours.
