The worship method of Saaththiriyar Madam Murugan Temple in Sangarathai, Sri Lanka is based on traditional Hindu practices. The morning rituals include offering of flowers to Lord Murugan, chanting of Sanskrit mantras, followed by circumambulating the temple (pradakshina) and praying for a peaceful life and prosperity.
