Mudavairavar Temple in Pallikkudha, Poonakari offers daily poojas to the Lord Muruga. Pilgrims partake in special rituals every evening such as puja, chanting of mantras, reciting Vishnu Sahasranama, and circumambulating the idol of Deity Muruga. During Tamil month of Thai, every first Tuesday of the month grand pujas are conducted. On sunset, the temple staff offers 108 lamps to the deity and the devotees take prasadam.
