The way of worship in the Kailasanathar Kailasapillaiyar Temple, Nallur in Sri Lanka follows ancient Hindu traditions and includes a number of rituals, the recitation of mantras, and offerings of flowers, sweets, and other items. Prayers and mantras are recited daily or weekly throughout the day in the temple. Devotees offer flowers and fruits to the deity along with lighting of lamps and offering of incense.
