History
The building of the present-day Holy Trinity Church began in 1715 and took 20 years to complete. The construction was carried out under the project of Dionýz Jurkovič and is an outstanding example of Baroque architecture. Jurkovič used the hall-type construction with a nave and two aisles of equal height and width. The rich interior of the church is dotted with numerous statues of saints, ornamental stucco, rich wood-carved altars and Baroque oil paintings.
