The Blue Church - Church of St. Elizabeth In Slovakia is a Roman Catholic parish church located in Bratislava, Slovakia. Built between 1908 and 1913, the church was designed by Hungarian architect Imre Steindl in the art nouveau style. Its name is derived from its color, which is a vibrant shade of light blue. The church is dedicated to St. Elizabeth of Hungary, and her statue is present in the main hall. The nave of the church has three arched bays and is dominated by an altar with a large dome above it and stained glass windows. Its ceiling is decorated with colorful frescoes and its walls are adorned with sculptures of saints and scenes from the bible. The church serves as a venue for wedding ceremonies, baptisms, and funerals. Masses are held on Sundays and weekdays.
