St. Elisabeth Cathedral In Slovakia is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in the city of Košice in Slovakia. It is the largest church in eastern Slovakia and was designed in the Romanesque Revival style. The cathedral was built in 13th century and dedicated to St. Elisabeth, the patron saint of Hungary, who was canonized in 1235. The cathedral was named after the Hungarian queen and dedicated to a saint that was also revered in Slovakian and Hungarian culture.
