Kostol Premenenia Pána is a Roman Catholic Church located in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. The church was built in 1260 and is one of the oldest churches in the country. It is dedicated to the Transfiguration of Our Lord. The church was initially built in Gothic style in baroque and rococo style in the late 17th century. The main altar was constructed in Baroque style out of gilded wood in 1768. The side chapel of St. Ann is a part of the church and was decorated in Rococo style.
The church also has a strong emphasis on music, and has organ concerts which can be heard on Sundays. The interior has four main altars open to worship and is decorated with frescoes and a vaulted ceiling. The church also has a crypt where the remains of several important figures are kept, some of them being members of the Maltese Knights religious order.
The church is a popular tourist attraction in Bratislava and is visited by many of them. It usually has services and Mass on Sundays. Mass times are usually in Slovak or German, but visitors can find English-language services on some occasions.
