The Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Ladomirová (UNESCO) is a unique and beautiful wooden church in Eastern Slovakia and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the Baroque style, the church was built in 1695 by the Greek Catholic Church of the Byzantine rite. The exterior of the church is characterized by four large wooden fortifications and two towers, and it is believed that the original structure was originally more festive, with more decorations than the current one. The interior of the church is decorated with intricate wood carvings, as well as paintings from the late 18th century and large stained glass windows from 1938 depicting the life of Saint Michael.
The Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Ladomirová offers religious services in accordance with the ancient rituals of the Greek Catholic Church of the Eastern Rite. It is open to the public and ceremonial masses are frequently conducted at the church. The church is an important cultural and historical landmark in the region and a popular tourist attraction.
