History:
The Seventh-day Adventists came to Sierra Leone at the beginning of the 20th century. The church was planted in 1924 by Rev. W. Talbot from the Presbytery of East Freetown. By 1950, there were over 2000 members of the Adventist Church. Since then, the Church has grown rapidly and there are now more than 58,000 members, with over 120 Adventist churches and 160 Adventist schools. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Sierra-Leone.
