National Pentecostal Sierra Leone (NPSL) is a Christian movement in Sierra Leone that holds to Pentecostal beliefs and doctrine. Founded in 2002, the movement has experienced tremendous growth since its inception and now counts over 60 members churches in Sierra Leone and elsewhere. NPSL is a member of the Assemblies of God International Fellowship (AGIF) and is officially recognized by the government of Sierra Leone.
NPSL’s vision is to win the lost for Christ, equip believers for their ministry, plant churches and transform communities. Practically this is done through preaching the gospel, conducting bible studies, providing practical assistance, and empowering leaders to grow the churches. The movement also runs a number of social projects to help the less privileged and help uplift communities.
The NPSL movement is led by a Council of Elders. The council is made up of leading pastors from the NPSL churches, and is charged with setting the values and direction for the movement. It also supervises and supports the church leaders during their ministry.
The NPSL movement is actively involved in worship services, evangelism, training and education. Its activities are strongly linked to national issues and key initiatives designed to promote revival and to support spiritual leaders more effectively.
