Central Assembly of God Church In Sierra-Leone is a vibrant and dynamic religious organization. The church was established in 1992 when Rev. Albert M.T. Lasbury and his wife Ahamed Lasbury setteled in Sierra-Leone to create a strong Penticostal assembly of Go. The Assembly has planted branches accross the Republic and has successfully managed to gather embers from national and international locations. It is one of the best churches in Sierra-Leone which you must visit.

History:

 The assembly has a long history and was initially aimed to bring Pentecostalism to the country. Unlike Catholic or Anglican Churches, Pentecostalism promotes a markedly different service and style of worship, defying the traditional set of liturgies or sacraments. In 1993, the assembly registered as a legal entity and in 1996 the first branch, in the east of the capital, was formed. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Sierra-Leone.
