The Anglican Diocese of Bo, Sierra Leone In Sierra-Leone was established in 1897 as part of the Church of the Province of West Africa (now the Anglican Church of West Africa). It is part of the Church of England's worldwide Anglican Communion. The Diocese is headed by the Right Reverend Dr. Francis C. Harding, who is the Bishop of Bo and Archdeacon of Bo. Its headquarters is in Bo, Sierra Leone. The Diocese covers four civil provinces – Bo, Moyamba, Pujehun, and Tonkolili and consists of about 70 parishes and preaching points. The Diocese provides services such as spiritual guidance, pastoral care, education, health care, and economic and social programs in its parishes and throughout the region. It is also involved in community outreach activities, including programs to promote education in rural areas, and to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS.
