Glenorchy Parish Church in Dalmally, Scotland was founded in the 11th century and is the oldest surviving parish church in Argyll. The church building, although much altered, has remained largely faithful to the original design. It was first constructed of limestone blocks, but was later renovated using local granite. The interior remains largely unchanged since its construction, although it has been renovated several times throughout its history, most recently in the 19th century. The church is notable for its unique sloping roof and its stained glass windows. It is noted for the service of the church,which is based upon the ancient Sarum rite and includes a three hour liturgy on a Sunday morning. There are also various social activities held at the church, including a weekly dinner, bible study groups, and occasional concerts. The church also provides opportunities for outreach and mission.
