Carnwadric Church of Scotland is a Church of Scotland congregation located in the Carnwadric area of South Glasgow, Scotland. It is the only Church of Scotland congregation in the area and has a long and proud history spanning almost 140 years. The congregation was founded in 1879 as an offshoot of Ballieston Parish Church. The church has grown from a small community church to a thriving, active congregation in the heart of Carnwadric, offering a range of services and activities for people of all ages. The church is notable for its strong community links and for its commitment to reaching out to disadvantaged sections of the local population. The church is home to a number of different musical groups and hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including weekly services, a lively youth group, monthly coffee mornings, book clubs, garden parties, and music festivals. In 2019, the church was awarded a Quality Accreditation Award from the Church of Scotland for its commitment to community service and its work to sustain the local community.
