History:

is is a Roman Catholic church located in Moamoa village, in Upolu, Samoa. Built in 1938, the church was dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua. It is the main Catholic church in the village and is the home parish of the patronal Saint for the village. St. Anthony's was built as a result of the efforts of Franciscan Missionary Fathers from the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary who visited the village in the early 1930's. Since then, the church has continued to be an integral part of the village with weekly services and Masses. It is one of the best churches in Samoa which you must visit.
