History:

is part of the global YWAM (Youth With A Mission) movement that started in 1960 in Denmark. It began in Samoa in 1994 and focuses on community service, equipping young people for life, and providing Christian education through creative outreach. YWAM Samoa has been involved in various programmes including running training courses in the area of Discipleship and training short-term teams from around the world to come and help with projects like building churches and schools, running outreach projects, and teaching in villages.
