Micoud Brethren Assembly is a Christian church located in the village of Micoud on the eastern coast of St. Lucia, in the Caribbean. Founded in 1938, the Micoud Brethren Assembly is a progressive, Bible-believing and speaking church. The Micoud Brethren Assembly was founded in 1938 by Elder John Aloysius, a former pattern-cutter from Trinidad, as a branch of the Trinidad and Tobago branch of the Brethren (Open) Assembly of Great Britain. The early services were conducted in the village of Micoud under a big cotton tree with members sitting on bare stones. In 1951 the Brethren Assembly was officially incorporated and recognized as a legal entity in St Lucia. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Saint Lucia.
