History:
The Adventists first came to Gros Islet in 1968 when the Watsons, Elder and Mrs. Watson, performed door-to-door evangelistic work and held Bible studies after which the first Sabbath-keeping church was formed with 17 members. This was later to become the Gros Islet SDA Church. Gros Islet SDA Church This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Saint Lucia.
