Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Micoud is a Catholic Church located in the parish of Micoud, St. Lucia. It was built in 1954 and is one of the oldest surviving churches on the island. It is known for its distinctive Gothic revival architecture, and has been described as “one of the most beautiful churches in the Caribbean.” The church is home to prominent artworks, such as a stained-glass ceiling by artist Thomas Spence, a large altar of the Virgin Mary, and a statue of St. Joan of Arc, sculpted by Michel-Ange Houasse. Church services include Bible study, Mass, Confession and special masses for holy days.
