Balata Pentecostal Church is a Christian church located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. It was founded by Rev. Jean Cardinal in 1961 and is a member of the United Pentecostal Church International. It is one of the best churches in Saint Lucia which you must visit.

History:

 The church was founded in 1961 by Pastor Jean Cardinal who was born to a peasant family near Jérémie, Haiti, in 1916. In 1933, while struggling with the challenges of the poor, Cardinal heard a gospel message and found faith and hope in Jesus. Through a vision he was called to preach the gospel to his people. He began traveling around Haiti with his evangelistic message of faith and hope and in 1961, he established Balata Pentecostal Church. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Saint Lucia.
