Ponte Romano di Mompeo is a Roman bridge in the commune of Mompeo, Italy. It is a three-arch bridge dating from the 1st century BCE, with a length of approximately 23 m. It is the oldest, intact bridge in the area and is a popular tourist attraction. The bridge is made of limestone blocks which are held together with iron rods, and is still used today for crossing the river Tevere. It also serves as a reminder of the Roman Empire’s engineering skills and legacy. The bridge has been declared a Monument of National Interest by the Italian government.
