Palazzo Lancelotti is a noble palace in Rome, Italy. It was built in 1576 by the Renaissance architect Bartolomeo dalla Porta and is the work of Gian Lorenzo Bernini. It was the marriage gift of Pietro Lancelotti to his wife, beautiful Caterina degli Atti. It is located in the Piazza del Popolo and is still property of the Lancellotti family. The palace is one of the earliest works of Bernini, who worked in the style of the High Renaissance. The façade features a portico with four Ionic columns and is decorated with a variety of grotesques and mythical creatures. It consists of three stories with elegant decorated windows. The interior of the palace is decorated with frescoes, sculptures and furniture from the 17th century. It features large stucco-wrapped columns and beautifully painted ceilings by his master, Francesco Borromini.
