The Fountain (Nasone Romano) is located on the corner of Piazza di Spagna and Via dei Condotti, in Rome, Italy. It is considered to be one of the City's finest attractions, and is free to the public, allowing visitors to enjoy its beauty. The estimated height of the fountain is 6.5 meters, or 21 feet, and the depth of the water pool is approximately 25 centimeters.
History:
The fountain was originally built in 1629 by Giacomo della Porta, an Italian architect whose works can be found throughout the city. During the 18th century, the fountain underwent minor modifications, such as the addition of the bust of Nero, and the current design was complete by 1818.
