History:

: This is a religious shrine and place of worship dedicated to Nine echelons of Sikhism, Baba Deep Singh Ji Shaheed. The shrine was built in memory of the legendary Sikh martyr, who was martyred while defending Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar in 1757. The Gurudwara commemorates great deeds and humbleness of Baba Deep Singh from a very long time. Various daily rituals, such as Nagarkirtan , morning assembly, night assembly and Diwan and Katha are held throughout the year. Every year a festival named "Urs Baba Deep Singh Ji" is held. Worship Method:

The worship at Gurudwara Shri Baba Deep Singh Ji Shaheed is performed according to traditional Sikh style, which includes singing hymns called "Kirtan" from the holy book of Guru Granth Sahib, followed by the Ardas (the Sikh prayer of reverence and remembrance). Prasad (blessed food offerings) are then served to devotees after the Ardaas. Guru ka Langar (free kitchen meal) is also served at the Gurudwara every day. Followers gather around the shrine of Baba Deep Singh Ji Shaheed, which is in the middle of the Gurudwara complex, and perform Akhand Path, a continuous and uninterrupted reading of Guru Granth Sahib, on special occasions.
