Wat Thep Nimit Phu Kratae is a temple complex located in Mueang Nonthaburi District, Nonthaburi Province, Thailand. The temple complex consists of three temples, Mahawan Nimit Vihara, Wat Thep Nimit, and Wat Kao Koda. The two most prominent temples, Mahawan Nimit Vihara and Wat Thep Nimit, are both important historical sites, as they are where King Naresuan the Great was born and consecrated as a monk. The temple complex is a popular tourist attraction, and is known for its unique architecture and art.
The temple complex is renowned for its fine example of traditional Thai temple architecture and beautiful artworks, including wall paintings, sculptures, and carvings. The temple complex also features two important statues; one of Prince Phuttharat, son of King Naresuan, and another of the 16th century monk Phra Mahawan Kiridhorn.
