The park is renowned for its remarkable hilly scenery, home to well-known landmarks such as Hin Phra Bat (หินพระบาท) and an ancient monastery.

Over time, resources and infrastructure have continued to develop in the region, with the help and patronage of Thailand's king. In 2021, the park will receive a further boost of funding as part of a nationwide initiative to incorporate preservation and conservation elements into every national park.
