The viewpoint is accessible via a long road that winds through the mountains of Saraburi before coming to a stop at the top of Khao Phu Kaew. The viewpoint itself consists of a large deck surrounded by lush greenery and forests, and is dotted with small tea houses, souvenir shops, and restaurants.

Khao Phu Ga is an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists, who come to the viewpoint to pay their respects to the Buddhist monk Phraya Kaew, who was believed to have lived here in the 7th century. Every year, millions of pilgrims come to the site to take in its spectacular beauty and witness the daily sunset.
History:
Khao Phu Ga has been used as a tourist site since the reign of King Rama IV. The beautiful scenery has also been used as a backdrop for several popular films and TV shows.
Travel:
The viewpoint is easily accessible from Bangkok as it is only a two-hour drive away. Many tour operators offer full-day trips to the site, complete with lunch and dinner. Alternatively, there are several roads leading to the site, and visitors can get to the viewpoint by either bus or bicycle.
