Prior to founding Destiny Church, Pastor Jojo and Precy had been involved with leading ministries in Pasig City and Manila. After a few years of ministry there, the couple felt that their efforts were not making the desired impact on the Filipino youth and families of Makati, prompting them to form their own church in Makati in 2016. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Philippines.
