It is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, Pentecostal churches, and the Evangelical Alliance of North America. It is one of the best churches in Panama which you must visit.

History:

Woodlawn Church was founded in 1959 by Rev. Joseph Royalsdell and his wife Josephine in Panama City. Royalseld had been a missionary to Central America and the Caribbean for over thirty years and was keenly interested in community development. Initially, Woodlawn Church was composed of mostly expatriate congregants who had been transferred to Panama from other countries around the world. Over the years, the church has grown to incorporate local Panamanians into their congregation. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Panama.
