Holy Trinity Church In Panama: History,Facts, & Services

Holy Trinity Church in Panama is the oldest English-speaking church in the Republic of Panama and the oldest Episcopal Church in the country. The history of the church extends back to the founding of the Panama railroad in the mid-1800s. Many of the first members of the church were railway workers building the Panama railroad. The first service was held in October 1851, in the dining-room of the Panama Railroad Hotel. The church is currently presided over by its senior pastor, the Rev. Erasmo Rodríguez Mazabel. Holy Trinity Church offers a variety of services such as traditional Anglican worship, bible studies, youth groups, community outreach, family ministries, monthly social events, and education classes. Holy Trinity also works with local charities and organizations to provide assistance to those in need in the community. The church is affiliated with the Episcopal Church in the USA and The Anglican Church in Central America.
