First Assembly of God In Panama: History,Facts, & Services

First Assembly of God in Panama was founded in 1911 by American missionaries. It is the oldest Pentecostal church in the country, and the only one with an English-speaking congregation. The church initially served the English-speaking expatriate population, but it now has members from a variety of backgrounds. It is part of the Assemblies of God denomination and is affiliated with the Latin American District and beyond. The church offers a variety of ministries and community services, including English-language Sunday School classes, Bible studies, youth programs, and a food bank. It also runs a Christian school, and has a Spanish church service available. The church works closely with local government and non-profit organizations to assist in improvement projects in both rural and urban parts of the country. It is strongly committed to sharing the Gospel and providing resources and support to those in need.
