It was founded in the late 19th century by Britain’s Church Missionary Society and the original church building was erected in 1901. The Church was founded in the mid-1800s by the Church Missionary Society (CMS). It was established in 1872 with local Anglican congregation led by Fathers Smith and Cambrook. The first church building was erected on the same grounds in 1901. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Panama.
