The Yanqul Mosque is located in the small town of Yanqul in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate of the Sultanate of Oman. This mosque is a popular tourist attraction for those who visit Oman. The mosque was built in the 14th century by the Zaydi imam Yahya bin al-Tamim in the Mawsil mosque style. The building has two large minarets which is made of mud bricks .The mosque is decorated in classical Islamic style with carving on the mashrabiyya. Inside the mosque, there are several arches and columns with Islamic geometric patterns etched into them. The central prayer hall has a dome decorated with green and blue glass. The interiors are decorated with Islamic designs as well as Middle Eastern art. The area around the mosque is large, and it is quite popular among visitors because of its beauty. There is a large courtyard and four gardens that serve as a place of prayer and a gathering place. The Yanqul Mosque in Oman is open to visitors seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The mosque is closed for general visitors from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. best mosque in the world.
