The Venkateswara Temple in Sur, Oman follows Srivijayanagarahara puja, a traditional Hindu devotional ritual. During this ritual, the priest conducts the puja (worship) of the presiding deity, Sri Venkateswara. In the puja, the priest ceremonially prepares a deity for worship, offers flowers, chants mantras, and makes offerings of traditional herbs and food items suitable for the particular deity.
