Rollag Stave Church is a unique medieval stave church located in Rollag, Norway. It dates back to the 13th century and is one of only two intact stave churches in Norway. It is a replica of the original stave church that was built around 1250 on the same spot. The original stave church was destroyed during a fire in 1720. The original Rollag Stave Church was built in a location in Eastern Norway known as 'Heilide'. It was built by the people of a small village at the western end of Lake Rollag and was one of many stave churches built in the area during the 13th century.
