The very first meeting of the Central Parish, formerly known as RCCG Lekki Parish, was a Bible Study in the house of Pastor Idowu Iluyomade in 1992—led by Pastor J.A. Adefarasin who was the then West Coast Regional Director of RCCG. The Bible Study was a weekly affair until 1996 when the group eventually became a parish.
