The Our Lady Queen Of Nigeria Catholic Pro-Cathedral, Abuja was established in August 1999 by the Franciscan Friars of the Portuguese Province of St. Anthony. The Cathedral was created to serve the people of Abuja and the surrounding area who sought out Catholic religious services. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Nigeria.
