Sohrakhutte Ganesh is a form of Ganesh worship popular in Nepal. It is traditionally celebrated as a joyful deity during the Hindu month of Shravana (July to August). The worship is done by reciting mantras and offering milk and sweets as Puja offerings. Other offerings such as flowers, fruits, and incense are also used. After the puja offerings have been made, an idol of Ganesh is placed on an altar. People then perform aarti and offer their prayers to Ganesh.
