The worship of Lord Shiva at the Shiva Mandir in Teendhara, Bandipur is carried out in a unique and traditional way. On special occasions, devotees purify themselves by bathing in the holy pond and then enter the temple premises for offering rituals and devotion to Lord Shiva. The most popular ritual performed here is the 'Vishnu Pooja', which is done by performing an 'Abhisheka' (bathing) of Lord Shiva with a mixture of water, milk, curd, honey and ghee.
