The worship method of Indreni Temple Bhutkhel is a combination of two traditional Nepalese rituals known as “paha” and “panchatna”. Paha is related to the worship of the gods while Panchatna is associated with the offering of food. In order to perform this ritual, the worshiper needs to stand in a place facing the shrine and offer up their prayers. During the prayer, sweets or fruits are placed in front of the shrine and incense is lit around it. The worshiper then bows in front of the shrine, clasps their hands together in prayer, and recites mantras.
