The worship method of Chinnamasta in Nepal is mainly centered around sowing seeds of faith and rituals. The main deity to be worshipped is Bhagawati Chinnamasta. The most common ritual that is observed is the Mangal Bazar where the devotees consecrate the Goddess with flowers, fruits, incense sticks and diyos (handcrafted lamps). The devotees sing and dance in praise of the Goddess before taking part in sacrificial rites with goats and other animals. After the sacrifice, the meat is then cooked and distributed as prasadam (blessed food). The devotees also practice fasting to honor the Goddess, while chanting mantras in her praise.
