The New Testament Church of God In Namibia: History,Facts, & Services
The New Testament Church of God is a Christian denomination formed in the mid-20th century from the union of several Pentecostal and Afro-Caribbean churches. It is mainly of Trinitarian Pentecostal faith and is located mainly in the British Isles and Ireland but has a small presence in many other countries in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, North and South America, Australia, and New Zealand.

History:
The first church of The New Testament Church of God was founded in 1955 by the Reverend Israel Amadi, an African missionary from Sierra Leone. After his death in 1969, a group of UK ministers formed The Pentecostal Covenant Church, which later became a denominational branch of The New Testament Church of God. In 1982, the main branches of The New Testament Church of God united to form the present National Council. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Namibia.
